Well yesterday was a bit emotional for me as i supported italy this euros in honour of my Nonno, and they won it. I’m so happy they won and if Carmine saw this he probably would’ve been very very happy. Anyway, I miss you Nonno, i hope you watched the finals up there 🇮🇹❤️

it’s sad that my Nonno has passed away. it breaks me that he’s gone, a part of me has gone which i’ll never get back but that’s okay. this is life.. we have to deal with it but i’m happy he isn’t in pain anymore. he didn’t deserve the pain from the myeloma. he’s resting now and i’m happy for him. i miss him a lot and i think about him everyday, i feel like he’s with me sometimes. we can’t get him back but he’s in my heart and mind. i will never forget that i never got to say a proper goodbye when he was still alive. i love the italian heritage i got from him, and i will continue his legacy for the rest of my life. This whole experience has been new to me and well.. i’m still getting used to it but i’ve learnt from this. I’m sad he’s gone, but i’m happy he’s up high in the clouds with the angels he deserves to be with. I will miss the funny conversations we had with him and the controversial opinions he had. but i hope to carry on his legacy with being a ‘ladies man’. i miss you Nonno. i’ll see you again some day.. -Jonah, your favourite grandson
